Unfortunately, my Henry Tempo 6n2 amplifier was so full of dust from the wild west trip in 1978 that I fried my 8874 tubes and the amplifier sat idle for many years while I married and raised a family.  Now that the kids are all grown and have moved away I have been slowly rebuilding that amplifier using the more rugged and affordable 3CPX800 tubes that I was able to purchase on eBay for about $100 each.

These tubes are larger than the original ones and I wanted to protect them (GM3SEK Triode Board) from my careless operating habits, so this project has been going on for several years now.  About once a year I will spend a day or two on it, and then set it aside.  Below are some pictures of this never ending project.  I hope to be on EME again by about 2025!
